  8. What is SpeakText?
  9. SpeakText allows HyperCard developers to implement
  10. the features and capabilites of Apple's new Speech Manager
  11. and PlainTalk Text To Speech extensions.
  12.  
  13. Requirements
  14. System 7.1, HyperCard 2.1, and Speech Manager 1.1.1.
  15. The PlainTalk™ Text-To-Speech extension is not required, but
  16. recommended for quality speech synthesis.
  17.  
  18. A minimum allocation of 2-4Mb of memory for HyperCard is
  19. also recommended.

  22. SpeakText is SHAREWARE.  If you intend to use this XFCN in any of your own
  23. shareware, public domain, or commercial stacks please send $15 to the address
  24. below.  You will receive a license for UNLIMITED use in any number of stacks you 
  25. create.
